Summary

Responsible for overseeing all functions of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Representatives and for assuring the smooth flow of customer service in the company.

Responsibilities

  1. Contacts prospective and current customers to solicit sales of company products and services
  2. Receives customer inquiries, and performs follow up procedures to include providing price
  3. quotes, new product information, and receiving feedback regarding company products and services
  4. Follows up with sales leads generated through incoming calls, advertising campaigns and other
  5. promotional efforts
  6. Maintains appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts for each customer.
  7. Understands and supports company sales policies and procedures to provide proper and
  8. effective service to all customers, and foster the development of long term business relationships
  9. Assists and resolves customer complaints in a timely manner, notifies management of problems
  10. and suggests corrective actions
  11. Acts as key person for all advertising and sales promotion
  12. Assists with conceptual development and execution of campaigns
  13. Acts as the company's single-source customer service link
  14. Completes annual competencies and safety trainings
  15. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety
  16. procedures.
  17. Cross-trained to perform the duties of other employees
  18. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  1. Has demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the public
  2. Use of shop mathematics together with the use of detailed drawings, blueprints, specifications,
  3. tables, color charts and adjustable instruments
  4. Ability to read and interpret documents written in English. Documents to include written work
  5. instructions, schematic/assembly drawings, standard operating and maintenance procedures and safety rules
  6. Maintains good interpersonal relationships
  7. Projects a professional demeanor
  8. Must exercise discretion in handling client information
  9. Has the ability to grow professionally and demonstrate increasing competence in the performance
  10. of duties
  11. Demonstrates computer literacy

Education/Training

Degree: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Prior work related experience preferred.
